Tokens for automations
Tokens are the prepaid balance that pays for Warm-up. This page explains what consumes tokens, how the dashboard decides which accounts your balance covers, what the "Not enough tokens" warning is telling you, how to buy tokens and how promotions are applied. For what the automations themselves do, see the automations guide.
1. What costs tokens
- Warm-up consumes tokens. Nothing else does: Account Listing and Account Status are free, including the checks you trigger by hand.
- Only a warm-up session that completes is charged. A session that is interrupted (Didn't finish) or ends in Needs review is not.
- A warm-up launched through the API is charged like a scheduled one. A manual run from the dashboard is not. While an API warm-up is still waiting or running, its maximum cost counts against your balance for the next API launch, so a balance that covers one session admits one at a time.
- The token balance is per agency and is shared by all your accounts and phones.
2. What a session costs
A session's cost is proportional to how long it runs: a 12-minute session costs more than a 6-minute one, and more sessions per day or more accounts mean more tokens per day. The two things that set your daily consumption are therefore the session length range and the number of scheduled times in your Warm-up profiles, multiplied by the number of accounts they target. The connectivity options (airplane mode, IP rotation) can make sessions take longer and so cost more.
3. Daily reserve and coverage
Before each day's warm-up runs, the dashboard checks that your balance can pay for the worst case of every account it would warm up: every scheduled session at the maximum length of its profile. That worst case is the account's daily reserve. Sessions are then charged for what they actually ran, so the real spend is usually below the reserve.
If the balance covers the reserve of every account, all of them warm up. If it does not:
- Accounts are covered cheapest first, so as many accounts as possible keep warming up.
- The accounts left out lose warm-up only. Listing and status checks keep running on them, and each shows a Low tokens chip in its Warm-up column.
- The Accounts page shows the warning Not enough tokens to warm up every
account, with three figures:
- how many accounts your balance covers out of the total;
- how many more tokens you need to cover every account today;
- how many tokens a full day of warm-up for all your accounts reserves.
Size a top-up on the daily figure, not on today's gap. The gap is what covers everyone today; the daily reserve is what every following day needs. A top-up that only closes today's gap will trigger the same warning tomorrow.
The warning disappears on its own once the balance covers every account; the paused accounts resume at their next scheduled session.
4. Buying tokens
Tokens are bought from the Accounts page (the Buy button next to your balance) with US dollars already in your agency wallet.
- Minimum purchase: $50. Highlighted packages: $50, $250, $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000, but any amount from $50 up works the same way.
- Volume discount: larger purchases earn a bigger discount on the price, from 0 % at $50 up to 30 % at $5,000 and above. The discount is continuous, so a package and a free amount of the same value credit exactly the same tokens.
- The dialog shows the discount, the tokens credited and the amount taken from the wallet before you confirm. If the wallet does not hold enough, top up the wallet first.
- Billing details must be on file, as for other purchases. Each token purchase is invoiced individually.
5. Promotions
iRemotech runs token promotions from time to time. Their amounts and conditions are announced separately; this is how they behave when one applies to you:
- Daily bonus. A promotional balance shown as its own Promo tokens chip next to your balance. It is granted each day, resets at midnight Spain time and does not accumulate: whatever is left of yesterday's bonus is replaced, not added. Promo tokens are spent before your purchased tokens, so a daily bonus always reduces what you pay for.
- Loyalty tokens. Credited straight into your main balance. They are permanent and behave exactly like purchased tokens.
Both count toward coverage: the daily reserve is checked against your purchased balance plus any promotional balance.
6. Reading your balance
- The Tokens chip on the Accounts page shows your purchased balance in short form (for example 133.3M); hover it for the exact number.
- The Promo tokens chip appears only while you hold a promotional balance.
- The Not enough tokens warning and the per-account Low tokens chips appear only when the balance does not cover every account, and go away on their own once it does.
- The account detail page shows how long each recent session warmed the account, which is what its cost was based on.
7. Ways to spend less
- Fewer sessions per day in the Warm-up profile: each scheduled time is a separate session.
- A shorter session range: the daily reserve is computed at the maximum of the range, and the charge follows the real length.
- Narrow the scope with tags or a specific list so warm-up runs only on the accounts that need it.
- Keep the connectivity options off unless a phone needs them.
